Brief summary.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is reported in up to 85% of men who have undergone a radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer. A few small studies have recently shown that low-intensity shockwave therapy may improve sexual performance in men with ED. However, the optimal dosage and length of treatment is yet to be determined. The investigators propose a randomised trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of low-intensity shockwave therapy in men with ED following prostatectomy surgery.

At The ED shockwave clinic, we can never fully 100% guarantee any results. We see really positive improvements in most of our patients (mild to moderate ED patients generally see the best results) but some, particularly those with serious underlying conditions, poor health, or long-term symptoms of ED - may see little or no benefit from erectile dysfunction shockwave therapy. This is why our consultation session is very important, so we can make sure we only take on the cases most likely to have the best chance of seeing a great improvement for Men's health issues, such as vasculogenic ED.
