Targets the root cause of vasculogenic ED
Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave therapy is highly effective for men suffering with mild to moderate Vasculogenic ED.
It is very important that each individual male must attend the clinic for an initial consultation session before proceeding to the course of 6 treatment sessions. This means we can ensure that we target men with mild to moderate ED. Therefore our success rate is very high.
How does Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave Therapy work?
Shockwave is the only non-invasive therapy available that treats the root cause of ED by increasing blood flow to the penis, helps to form new blood vessels and can break down micro plaques in the penis.
Focused Shockwave Therapy is a clinically proven with a high success rate for mild to moderate ED. It is a drug-free and pain-free treatment for vasculogenic erectile dysfunction.
Each session of Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave therapy lasts approximately 25 minutes. During the procedure a hand held shockwave device is applied at different points on and around the penis. Painless shockwaves are transmitted to the treatment areas on the penis and on the perineum (the area between the anus and the scrotum). Treatments are carried out by medically trained Storz shockwave specialists.

The sessions are repeated twice a week over the course of a 3 week period. There is no down time or recovery period post treatment.
Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave Therapy involves passing painless, short, intense focused waves into the affected tissues. These waves increase blood flow, stimulate repair and tissue regeneration. Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave Therapy puts the body’s cells into repair mode and restarts its own accelerated healing process.
We use the top of the range, gold standard Storz Medical DUOLITH SD1 »ultra« ED Shockwave Therapy can only be performed with Focused Shockwave. Radial Shockwave is not indicated and would not work.
State of the Art, Gold Standard - Clinically Proven Technology.
Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave therapy can lead to a significant improvement of the IIEF (International Index of Erectile Function) which lasts at least 3 months (Man, L. et al., Urology, Elsevier, 119, 67 – 103, 2018)
Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave therapy promotes the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) contributing to a big improvement of ED symptoms.
Many patients who suffer from ED is due to the smooth muscle in their penile arteries being damaged. Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave therapy has been shown to induce the body to repair the smooth muscle in the penis and thus improve erectile function.
What are Shockwaves?
Focused Shockwaves are high-energy waves. In the medical world, Shockwaves have been used successfully for the treatment of various medical conditions since the 80’s. Shockwaves are generated by a hand hand device outside of the body (extra corporeally) and then travel through the patient‘s skin into the damaged or diseased tissue. This is why the method is called extra corporeal Shock wave Therapy or ESWT for short.
Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave therapy promotes the formation of new blood vessels (Angiogenesis) contributing to a big improvement of ED symptoms.
There are two types of Shockwaves, Radial and Focused (Radial Shockwaves should not be used for ED). Radial Shockwaves (Soft shock) are used to treat larger and more superficial indications.
Focused Shockwaves (Hard shock) have a smaller more targeted focal point for greater accuracy and greater treatment depth. The smaller targeted treatment area allows for a more comfortable treatment and is therefore the only Shockwave treatment that can be used to treat men’s sexual health conditions. Erectile Dysfunction Shockwave therapy cannot be performed with Radial Shockwave. It is not indicated and would be far too painful anyway.

Focused SWT stimulates blood flow in the penis, which can lead to an improvement in erectile function:

Studies have shown that SWT in vascular erectile dysfunction causes an increase in local metabolism and promotes hyperaemia (increased blood flow) and angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels).
